He has worked and taught in 30 countries to protect the health of people around the world and provide essential emergency services to those in need. |
Dr. Ramaz
Mitaishvili has been a part of the LA Vocational Institute (LAVI)
faculty since 2000. One of his primary interests is his students: he
does his best to provide them with the opportunities to learn about
medicine in the program areas listed below, and to grow in independence
and confidence in the classroom as well as in the medical field. Dr.
Ramaz encourages his students to develop professionally by giving
presentations at academic conferences and by publishing in scholarly
journals. In addition, he provides them with guidance and assistance in
regard to their future careers and life choices.
He has written and published more than 20 books, over 1000 scientific and clinical papers, book chapters, lectures on medical care. |

Salpy has held numerous positions in professional organizations and is dedicated to nursing education. She has also worked with the Armenian Olympic team providing nursing care to the athletes! | |||||

Anthony’s approach to bodywork is based on a foundational understanding that it is the body/mind/spirit which heals itself, while the massage therapist is simply a facilitator, guiding the person in this work. He does not forsake eastern or western approaches for the other, but incorporates both into his sessions and into his classroom experience. Having graduated at the top of his class from the Swedish Institute in New York City, he is practiced in client assessment using Chinese medical theory and western tools of assessing soft tissue conditions and designs treatments incorporating both methods to address client needs.
